Nest Insight has become the Centre for Inclusive Money at Nest – giving increased clarity to our mission of finding what really works in supporting people to be financially secure, both today and into retirement, and driving transformational change in the system.
We’ll continue building towards a fairer and more inclusive system of joined-up products and services that meets people where they are, supports their diverse needs and makes it easier for them to achieve good outcomes. Getting this right and improving household financial security can unlock greater individual wellbeing, social participation and economic growth.
Will Sandbrook, CEO of the Centre for Inclusive Money at Nest, said:
‘Delivering impact through high-quality, collaborative research, with a strong focus on testing solutions in the real world, has always been a central pillar of our work. But over time we’ve become more focused on how we can also work downstream of that research to play a role in translation at scale across policy, regulation and market activity.
‘That shift underpins our strategy and our new identity as the Centre for Inclusive Money at Nest. These new foundations better convey our public-benefit purpose and our work towards a more inclusive system that supports all low- and moderate-income households to build financial security. A system where joined-up products and services meet people where they are, and support their needs throughout the ups and downs of their life journeys.’
Inclusive Money was set up by Nest, the workplace pension provider built to give everyday workers somewhere good to save – already supporting more than 14 million people to plan for the future.
Ian Cornelius, CEO of Nest, added:
‘Building financial peace of mind for all is at the heart of Nest’s purpose. We know achieving this will require a system that truly works for everyone, regardless of their income or circumstances. That’s why we’re proud to support the Centre for Inclusive Money at Nest, which, through its unique ability to bring together organisations from across sectors, is helping drive the changes needed so low- and moderate-income households can achieve greater financial security, both today and for the future.’

About the Centre for Inclusive Money at Nest
Our mission is to find what really works in supporting support people to be financially secure, both today and into retirement, and to drive transformational change in the system.
We build and amplify deep, rigorous insight into the lived experience of low- and moderate-income households, seeking to better understand how people actually earn, spend, save, cope with the unexpected, and invest for the future.
We develop innovative solutions grounded in that understanding. We test them in the real world. We gather robust, rounded evidence about what genuinely makes a difference. And throughout, we work with the people who have the power to act – industry, employers and government – to turn that evidence into lasting change; informing decisions and catalysing the adoption of what works at scale. We work inclusively and collaboratively across boundaries and silos, because we know no single organisation can deliver this kind of change alone.
We are building towards a fairer and more inclusive system of joined-up products and services that meet people where they are, support their diverse needs and make it easier for them to achieve good outcomes. Getting this right and improving household financial security can unlock greater individual wellbeing, social participation and economic growth.
